Mission statement/description
The sisters carry out the purpose and ministries for which they were founded: to proclaim the Gospel message of Jesus Christ by living the consecrated life; to exemplify and share the spirituality and charism of their foundress, Henriette Delille, with the people of God; and to bring healing comfort to children, the elderly, the poor and the powerless, especially those of African descent. They own and operate three homes for the aged, two pre-school child development centers, a primary free school for the poor, two high schools and seventeen elementary schools throughout the United States. |
