Mission statement/description
Consecrated to a life of prayer and praise, these cloistered Dominican sisters share in the redemptive work of Christ in the heart of the Order of Preachers. Their primary mission is to pray for the salvation of souls, and to support the preaching mission of the Dominican friars. They follow the Rule of St. Augustine in "oneness of mind and heart," and live the traditional monastic observances of daily Eucharist, Divine Office, lectio divina, private prayer, and study and work. They also have the privilege of perpetual adoration and perpetual Rosary. |
