Mission statement/description
Having recognized the call to live in chastity, poverty, and obedience, the Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception pursue God alone and His Kingdom serving those most in need. Their lives are rooted in unceasing contemplation of the Word of God and continuous studies. Thus equipped, they engage in various ministries in three major areas: evangelization, education, and health care. Dynamic apostolates and extensive international outreach of their Congregation stem from the life shared in joyful sisterhood. Growing out of a thousand-year-old Polish Catholicism, the Sisters are blessed with holy predecessors (ex. Bl. Sr. Julia Rodzinska; their Foundress, Mother Columba Bialecka), who inspire generations of Dominicans-in-making. |
