Mission statement/description
The Mariannhill Mission Society is a pontifical mission congregation in the United States and 15 other countries consisting of priests and/or brothers. They live by their founder Abbot Francis Pfanner's motto: "Social problems can only be solved through living Christianity." Their apostolate is to bring the Faith to those places where the Church is not yet established or has disappeared. The Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood, also founded by Abbot Francis Pfanner, often work with them. |
