Mission statement/description
These priests and brothers, also known as the Guanellians, work with developmentally disabled children and adults. Such disabilities include mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and autism. The Servants of Charity believe that the promotion of the whole person, according to each one's capabilities, is their main objective. They operate the St. Louis Center, which provides residential foster care for males and females with developmental disabilities. |
