Mission statement/description
These sisters hold to the Dominican charism - to share the fruits of their contemplation with those they serve. They preach the Gospel of Life and God's love by our care of those people with incurable cancer who are unable to afford care elsewhere. The writings of the community's founder, Rose Hawthorne, in the words of one author, "offer a portrait of a vigorous and inspirational woman who could look at the social evils of her day and see them not merely as deplorable but as a challenge." |
