Mission statement/description
The Discalced Carmelites of Terre Haute is a community of women united by a call from God to a lifelong commitment to Jesus Christ. Heirs of the Carmelite contemplative tradition, they seek through continual prayer communion with God and also communion with all their brothers and sisters in the human family. In this way they strive to be a sign of God's presence and enduring love for the world. |
