About Us
Mission statement/description
They are a community, women of Christ-like love, who live and make visible the LOVE of Christ in the world. Transformed by a Eucharistic life-style, they are impelled to give and receive Christ's love, joy, peace and healing for the life of the world. Their foundress was Pauline von Mallinckrodt, born in 1817 in Minden, Germany, a woman who had great love for the poor.
This congregation uses all its energies and resources to make Christ known and loved, imitating especially His love for the poor - the spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally or socially deprived.
Education: In this they serve as teachers (pre-school through college), administrators, directors of religious education, librarians, guidance counselors, instructional aides, parish ministers and youth ministers.
Health Care: They serve the sick as administrators, nurses, technicians, therapists, dieticians, and pastoral ministers in hospitals and nursing care facilities.
Homemaking: Supportive of their apostolates, the sisters currently engaged in homemaking add another dimension of service to their local communities and provide a source of charitable outreach within parish life.
