Mission statement/description
This is a contemplative/apostolic congregation consecrated to God through a life of prayer and reparation, from which flows their life of loving service in the care of the young and elderly. They pray, sacrifice, and atone with an apostolic perspective. The apostolates to which they devote themselves comprise the Christian upbringing of children and youth in homes for children, and in the care of the aging in retirement homes and nursing homes. They carry out these apostolates in their own homes so that community life may be maintained. Together they "see, serve, and love God in all." The beatification of their foundress, Bl. Maria Teresa of St. Joseph, took place on May 13, 2006 in the Cathedral of Roermond, Netherlands. |

In good physical health: mental, emotional and moral health.
Loyal to the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

Formation program
Postulant: The postulant will experience community life and draw closer to God. Minimum of six months.
Novice: The novice strives to become thoroughly imbued with the spirit of the Gospel and of the congregation, spending much time in silent prayer and reflection. She wears the habit and a white veil. Two years.
Junior Professed: Following her novitiate, the young sister professes vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. These vows are renewed each year for five years. During this time, she is referred to a "Junior Professed Sister," and she learns to bring the God that she has found in her prayer into the lives and hearts of all those whom she is serving in His Name.
Perpetual Professed: At this time the Sister has determined her total love for God, and she vows to bind herself to Him forever. |
