Mission statement/description
The Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco evangelize by educating youth in the spirit of St. John Bosco and St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello. It is a spirit of joy, friendship, love for life and service that flows from a personal relationship with Jesus. This educative presence is created by committing themselves to a life which is rooted in Gospel values. It is open to the realities of the world of the young, especially those who are poor and marginalized. We follow the example of Mary, the Help of Christians, who models the ideals of womanhood as we live our Salesian charism in fidelity to the Church at the service of youth. |
