About Us
Mission statement/description
This community promotes the devotion to the Most Holy Soul of Christ, and teaches others of the presence of Jesus in human souls and cultivates a devotion to Our Lady as the Mother of the Mystical Body of Christ. The congregation works among the faithful, encouraging the laity to carry out its own apostolic mission in the world. They also staff schools, care for the sick, provide support services for the poor, and assist in parishes. Their work takes them beyond the Polish Catholic community.
Qualifications for entry
Any young woman desiring to be a Sister of the Most Holy Soul of Christ is invited. The community states, "If you are a woman of courage who is not afraid of any challenge, then we are inviting you to open up to God's call and join us with joyful spirit."
Formation program
Postulancy is a period of six months to two years, made for the purpose of making a transition from life in the world to the religious life. The novitiate lasts two years, and the young women then grow in their love for Christ as they learn about the nature of the vows and religious life. This is followed by simple vows, in which the sisters profess the vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience to God for one year, and renew their vows one year at a time for five years or longer. Finally, with perpetual vows, the sisters dedicate themselves to God and to the Congregation for the entire time of their life.
