About Us

Mission statement/description The life of these nuns is one of loving prayer, fed by liturgy, silence, solitude, challenging and joyful community support. They place their hearts in that of Mary, following in the footsteps of her Son toward deeper union with God for the life of the world. Carmelite motto: "I have been most zealous for the Lord, the God of hosts" (1 Kings 19:10). Qualifications for entry Sound mental and physical health; good judgment and common sense.
